went and back!

hee, once again i left without notice =P

on jan24th 06:00am, my family & i
zoomed away to m'sia for the new year.

spent a good 4days3nights there
with the cousins and i can only say
i thoroughly enjoyed myself =]

almost the whole clan was there!
for the annual lunch on 初一, that is.
(save for one family in newZ,
a cousin in PJ studying for his As,
a cousin & partfamily who didnt come.)

anyway, the lunch was different this year.
first of all, we went to a different restaurant!
we'd been going to the same one for years
so perhaps it was time for a change?
i think this one was nearer to our aunt's place.

next was the table arrangements!
this was the first lunch that
i'm not at the "kid's table",
scooping food for them,
ensuring everyone had some to eat..
(not that i mind,
but it's a change i could get used to?)

so the young people at my table were
ladies 18+above, and two men.

'twas kinda funny 'cos
through the conversations,
we found that Ezra was totally out of touch
with where everyone was and
with what everyone was doing.
but we caught up eventually. =P

and i spoke to AhYong KorKor
FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!!
haha. he was asking what i was doing
so i told him and tried explaining
a little of what it meant.
he shared about how things are
on his side as well
(he's in Bible College! in Taiwan!!)

then after like.. fifteen minutes
i asked him if he knew my name
and he was.. speechless! haha
i guess the age gap's kinda big la, ya?
but since i'm in my TWENTIES now,
i guess it's about time
i get to know my cousin?

haha, as usual, we'd shuttle between
two of the aunts' places
to watch some telly, catch up
and eat and eat and eat and EAT!

goodness.
there goes my plans to be fit~
haha.

nonono. cannot.
totally feeling the level of fitness going downhill!
(evident in lack of strength & endurance required for the current attachments)

after the exams, kay?
