my work experience(s)
two years ago, after the O levels, i had a two-day stint selling honey at the annual SGH Bazaar. it was extremely rewarding each time someone made a purchase. can't remember how much i made but i think sales is pretty fun. :)
another two years on, and i repeat history with a two-day stint - this time, doing stock-taking. of handphones! (which brand i shall not name) heh. read many many IMEI numbers. can almost memorise some of them! haha.
anyway, it was supposed to be a one-day job but they asked me back the next day to do some data entry. maybe i was really efficient! :D
made some friends there. the staff there were hospitable and that made my time there a really pleasant one. :)
however, come this Monday, i shall have a more permanent job. gonna be a good learning experience for me. can't wait~ :D

ugh.
my hp's driving me nuts! i can't make and receive calls or send and receive messages!! argh. and to top it off, it just keeps wasting batt when it's on by restarting EVERY MINUTE. so i give up trying.
1st Dec - 4th Dec
~ left in the morning of the first day to travel overseas to visit my relatives(my BENJI BOY!!!) and later my AhMa and Aunt [whee~]
~ ate lots [the wrongest thing to do before a prom]
~ bought stuff for prom [haha, nothing much, a simple black dress and believeitornot - HEELS. >.<]
~ came back in the evening, exhausted [yawns~]
5th Dec
~ woke up early in the morning with insufficient rest to pack to up [going to move house on the 6th!]
~ pack pack pack pack pack pack pack pack
~ pack pack pack pack pack pack pack pack
~ started to get ready for the evening's event
~ took about ten minutes to get the contact lenses in [argh, should've practised prior to the big night]
~ mummy did my make up and hair [haha. nothing extravagant cos i'm not there to steal the limelight!]
~ dad sent Linda and i to Meritus Mandarin
~ met Mel at the entrance [that gorgeous babe!!! i'll put up photos when i'm able to]
~ not gonna comment about the program cos, well, i'm too lazy [haha]
~ took some photos with some friends [not many, though. borrowed my sister's camera and there were already quite a number of photos in the memory card. didn't dare to clear them incase she needed them]
~ left when my dad came
~ before showering i spent about half an hour trying to remove my contact lenses [red eyes, pain]
~ much needed SLEEP
6th Dec
~ woke up at 6plus this morning [movers came at 7]
~ pack pack pack pack pack pack pack pack

~ movers left, and i went down three floors to my new home
~ now all that's left to do is to UNpack

i'm moving house REALLY soon.
so here's what greets me early in the mornings and when i come home late after school from where I'm currently staying.. UNTOUCHED. :)

went out with my babes today!!!
haha. it's the FIRST ever outing that we planned that materialised!! but, well.. this one also had the most amount of planning and the most amount of reminding involved! haha.
anyway, Rox was late!! that silly bum.. couldn't wake up~ but we planned to meet early so it didn't really matter. :) hilarious conversations in the MRT on the way to Suntec City. Linda arh.. go sauna.. >.<'''
we met up earlier to get the other two darhlings their super belated birthday presents. looking for them was kinda difficult but we managed to get them stuff that we felt most represented them. yeah. :)
was SLIGHTLY late for the Sports Expo we wanted to go to but it didn't matter. (saw someone with his girl on our way there, eh? *raised eyebrows* haha.) we got what we wanted over there, and more! my neigh-hey-hey arh.. and her megawatt smile found us doing some survey which got us thinking about retirement! the guys were friendly larh, but maybe they were more interested in getting her number! >.<
we split up and i stopped by along citylink to get a present for a friend while Linda and Rox and i staggered our entrance times. haha. those sillybums didn't suspect a thing! i think..
went for lunch at Kenny Rogers. WHOA. HUGE portions. couldn't finish! felt so wasteful. :( but the food was good, the company was greater, and the laughs were bellyaching. haha. enjoyable lunch date.
off to Suntec again! to turn GachaGacha machines!! WOOTZ! so many!! haha. we went crazy about them and i think i overspent. heh. but it was fun! got most of the stuff i wanted. a piggie for Linda, a piggie for my AhZhen, and a piggie for my AhLi. a Jasmine for my Manda, only to find that she prefers Ariel. sigh~ wanted a clarinet for Jees but couldn't get. little disappointment.
watched some people playing arcade games and those machines that allows you to pick up toys and stuff, ONLY if you're skilful enough to manouver the silly metal arm. money wasting things, i say. but there was this guy who kept dumping in dollars to get this keychain thing. not really worth it, but i guess there's an element of suspense and satisfaction when you get what you want. i still prefer the GachaGacha machines. you ALWAYS get something in the end. bleah!
Neigh-hey-hey then disappeared to "make a phonecall" while Linda and i distracted Mel and LaLa with more coin-dropping and machine-handle-turning. haha. we're GOOOOOOD.. :P
when she joined us again we sang a birthday song in the middle of that platform area for the two unsuspecting babes while she presented the cake(slice). the two sillybums didn't even know who we were singing for so they kept passing the cake to each other during the song until we sang the third line -with their names mentioned- then did they realise it was for the both of them. haha. presented them the gifts we bought and it was the time for huggs!! :D
i left them early to celebrate my sister's birthday with the family, but not before getting Rox to sit on a kiddy ride! haha. here's a picture taken by Mel! not gonna post the video, though. MAYBE on the class blog, yes. haha. KIDDIN.

anyway, it's gonna be a busy month for me! going back to see my BenjyBoy!! Wootz! Miss him like crazy. haha.
and oh, i went ICESKATING today. goodness, i can't skate forwards as good as i do backwards. something must be wrong with me. maybe going out a few more times will help me correct that. ANYWAY, Mel! i know i'm SUPPOSED to be studying, BUT...
i JUST discovered the wonders(although limited as compared to photoshop) of Microsoft Photo Editor! real awesome. =]
so i pretty much spent the entire day looking for photos in the com to texturize and stuff. don't have many photos in the first place so nice ones are fewer! eventually only managed to sqeeze out these pathetic number of pictures of friends family and me. heh. here they are. XP
