BACK (super late post)

12th December 2008

*yikes* for my teenyweeny pool of readers,
i'm so sorry i didn't pre-empt ya
that i'd be away for a few days.
ANYWAY, uh.. i'm back now! (heh)

where did i go?

the moment i left the exam venue
on the last day of term (11th Dec)
i was whisked off in my papa's (company) car
to the immigration customs en route to m'sia!

that marked the beginning of a few-hours car ride
to KL to spend time with my maternal cousins.

stayed a night there before heading off to Penang.
there was a pre-arranged gathering
for ALL immediate paternal relatives (from all over) plus grandma
to have a family portrait photoshoot!

i realised that the last one we'd taken
was when i was in lower primary (?)
in this dress that i don't think was comfortable. =\

ANYWAY, the night just before the shoot,
the girls in my family panicked!
we heard that the cousins were gonna
have their hair and makeup professionally done
yet we were so unprepared for the shoot
that we didn't bring any thing
other than the clothes to wear. >.<

THANKFULLY to YiingMing JieJie
(our once-lost-but-now-found
super longtimenosee neighbour)
who arranged for her uncle to help
us look good for the portrait =]
also pitched in to beautify us girls!
(btw, the story of how YiingMing JieJie
found my family's a real interesting one,
you can ask me about it! haha =D)

well, the outcome of the professionals' work:

who felt like it was impossible to beautify further =]
