i am sick.

migraine, that's the word.

according to my family doctor it could be triggered by a number of things.

sudden changes in termperature..

vanilla-flavoured foods..

emotional upsets..

chocolate..

stress.

haha.

valentines day!

haha. overdue post. anyway, i baked chocolate chip cookies for my colleagues! heh. uh, INTERESTING experience. the first batch turned out soft and crumbly. so did the second. the third was not too bad. as was the fourth. (these were the ones i could distribute.) the fifth was burnt. so basically, i "wasted" about 3kg of cookie batter and chocolate chips. sigh~ oh, well. blame it either on rustiness (the last time i baked was in Sec2 Home Economics Class, where surprisingly i got a 38/40 for that baking test) or the "new" oven (actually left behind by the previous owners of our house) which doesn't function properly. haha. wrapped the cookies up, two for each person except for my super-nice supervisors who got an extra each. haha. didn't leave my name on the tag so i was laughing to myself when they were wondering out loud who had given the cookies to them. they tried guessing and i tried to avoid answering them. but some eventually got it right. for those that didn't know? well, let's just say that they were remembered on this Valentine's Day. =]

Sunday came and went.

the outfit i painstakingly put together.

the "belt" i sewed on.

with many pricks to my fingers.

worth it?

haha. well, satisfaction arose when i put it on.

there's a new girl at work and she's really nice!

haha.. absolutely wonderful to have

someone (else, other than the temp guy who, while isn't mean or anything like that, is still of a rumour-breeding gender) i can have lunch with,

someone also expecting (and maybe dreading, like me) the A level results,

someone who i can talk to at a comfortable level (not that my other colleagues are stuck up or unfriendly) since we're both temps.. =]

although she's more chinese-speaking, i find it easy to talk to her 'cos she's just so pleasant.. heeh~

maybe i need to brush up a little, though.. sentences like:
"我今天lunch带sandwich因为mummy昨晚帮我pack了..!"
just don't sound professional.. haha..

anyway, i just spent my lunch hour with her,
not much time left to blog!

a pretty pint-sized lady who seeks help in hole-punching the thick stacks of paper for filing and in accessorising when she goes out after work from the same guy.

a red-dyed hair girl whose boyfriend is twelve years her senior, and who has cantonese karaoke sessions every lunch break.

an adorable mother of two who has a primary school aged daughter who writes random four digit numbers in her diary, and who struck lottery recently with such numbers.

did you notice? they're all female.

I get free transport to work everyday (except on Wednesdays when daddydearest has his off day).

I have a lunchbuddy who knows I absolutely DON’T like approaching counters (so all I need to do is stand in the queue and he orders my food for me).

I go home everyday to find mummy has warmed up my dinner for me.

I only help to fold clothes once a week (‘cos my precious sisters know I am just so stoned when I get home after work).

I have an alarm system that WORKS but doesn’t produce sound. =]
