valentines day!

haha. overdue post. anyway, i baked chocolate chip cookies for my colleagues! heh. uh, INTERESTING experience. the first batch turned out soft and crumbly. so did the second. the third was not too bad. as was the fourth. (these were the ones i could distribute.) the fifth was burnt. so basically, i "wasted" about 3kg of cookie batter and chocolate chips. sigh~ oh, well. blame it either on rustiness (the last time i baked was in Sec2 Home Economics Class, where surprisingly i got a 38/40 for that baking test) or the "new" oven (actually left behind by the previous owners of our house) which doesn't function properly. haha. wrapped the cookies up, two for each person except for my super-nice supervisors who got an extra each. haha. didn't leave my name on the tag so i was laughing to myself when they were wondering out loud who had given the cookies to them. they tried guessing and i tried to avoid answering them. but some eventually got it right. for those that didn't know? well, let's just say that they were remembered on this Valentine's Day. =]
