the study trip =]

was away march 4^th-7^th.

spent 4 days in KL,
some of which involved
interacting with students
from the University Kembangsaan M'sia.

it was a really packed study trip
and i felt that we rushed through
much of the programme.

yet i have to say that
i learnt the most
from the visit to the CBR centre.
it was inspiring to see
what can be done
when one has limited resources.
the enthusiasm the clinician
had for the profession shone
and it made me wonder
why what was accomplished
hasn't been done yet.

ignorance?
the system?
lack of passion?
difficulty in obtaining financial support?

whichever it is,
i feel that a lot more
in S'pore can/should be done.
