a splendid way to celebrate.

he surprised my family
-and me included-
when he asked my mum
for permission to take me out.

he knew the event'd end late
so he asked if i could be sent home
by 11:30pm the latest.
at his sincerity, i believe,
mummy agreed.

he picked me up from home,
me all dressed up by my sister
(no, without makeup, thankyou.)
and we had dinner at pastamania.

made our way to cityhall
for reasons he still didn't
want to reveal to me.
got squished up in a huge crowd
and we ended up at the marinabay.

YES. he'd brought me to
see the fireworks. =]
and it was.. splendid. *beams*
(pity, i didn't bring a camera)

really didn't expect it,
was a very pleasant surprise.

and the most important thing:
he sent me home on time. =P
