hm, nothing much has been happening in my life right now,
other than that i know what God wants me to do
and i am trying my best to be faithful in my study.
it's a real dread but i really have to get through this.
anyway, on a lighter note,
this month is YOUTH MONTH!!
YAY~ =]
uh, well, the Youth & YA is celebrating it with
1. A Saturday of War Games
--> 14th July 2007
--> 1300-1830 hours
--> Bring stuff for showering
--> Bring one entire extra set of clothes
--> The above was including inner garments
--> Wear a set of "disposable" clothes
['cos the organisers say they'll make us so
messy that it'll be unwashable]
--> At St Margs' Pri
2. A Saturday of Potluck
(I can't remember lunch/dinner)
--> 21st July 2007
--> Since i don't know which meal of the day this
will be, i obviously don't know the time as well!
--> At St Margs' Pri
YUP!
Can't wait for the War Games!!
Well, not that i am a girl of violence, no no no..
Heeh~
Just that i'm inviting my friends and
am praying really hard that they will come!
oh, another event coming up soon is..
CCK's 21st Anniversary!! *wootz*
haha.
and as tradition goes,
the Youth & YA are putting up an item.
oh, this is an interesting one,
a kinda dance we've never done before.
i remember last year we did a
Saturday Night Fever Ah-Go-Go Swing Dance.
that was real fun, a partner dance.
haha.
this year it's real different.
we're not even having music,
and the weekly Sunday practices have left
and are still leaving me
with smarting palms
with bruised thighs
with sore calves
with agonized soles.
wondering what could've done that?
here's a hint:
[well, this is how the choreographers described it]
it was inspired by some Maori tribe doing the Haka
y'know, the sorta war cry that ruggers roar?
i'm not sure before a match or after victory, though.
haha.
guessed it yet?
well, i don't think it really looks like that,
but it's inspired by that..
and here goes..
it's a SLAP DANCE.
heh~
but despite the complaints,
it's actually quite fun.
it's a sorta dance that all involved
have to be in sync to look good.
we're working on that, though. =]
yeah, and if i am still stumbling on stage
and losing my balance
and forgetting my moves
and slap-step-clap-smacking a beat behind everyone else
by the 29th July?
just know i tried my best. :P
