o0okayy.. this place has been really stagnant..

it's two really busy months for me..

starting with the Young Adult Retreat [27th-29th May] which was quite good..
held at Sentosa, we rented 3 huts with two doubledecked beds each..
it was barely enough!
thankfully for some weird reason or another,
Justin brought a hammock.
heh.. and that was one of the guys' beds..
there were nine girls but only eight staying over each night
so accomodation for us were just nice..
and i think six guys, only five staying over each night..
yup..
sessions were good..
we learnt about King Saul and King Solomon..
how they started off well, but didn't finish well..
the former, gave in to the lust for power,
and the latter, giving in to the lust for women,
to put it generally..
the discussions were good too.. :))
we weren't able to cover all we wanted
so we'll continue with learning King David during YA Cell..
the non-session times were enjoyable as well..
we played ultimate frisbee on the beach
and at night, we played card&boardgames..
[which reminds me to bring Cluedo for the last event i'll be writing about..]



then a really happy Saturday[2nd June]..
whereby I watched my first movie at the cinema in..
let's see..
SIX MONTHS!!!

we celebrated Mummy's birthday[6th June] too!
went to a nice restaurant where i..
*guiltily* overate..
goodness!
my plan to slim down is SO not working..
and going to M'sia later is really NOT helping..
*rawr!*



next up was my trip to M'sia[7th-12th June]..
visited some relatives..
the yearly usual..
goodness.. this was the trip i spent the most on!
two pairs of pants for Fathers' Day (it's a week away but my sisters&i bought early..)
a pair of jeans which was essential ('cos my only pair is fraying badly..)
a pair of girlyshoes (ugh.. why can't we just wear sneakers with everything?!!)
30 pairs of contact lenses (there you go, the bulk of my expenses.. bleah~)
so now i am set back by only about..
a few hundred dollars..
*rawwwr*
this is Ms V. Broke blogging now..
anyway, spent time with my Dad's Mother(we call her Ah Ma.. =])..
it's the FIRST time ever, that she's so cheerful..
sigh~
prayed for her before we left..
may she come to know the Lord soon!
and also my Dad's Sister(she's known as our Ah Gor.. =])..
she's real nice.. gave my sis a 5566 CD from her own collection!
cool or what?!! =D
o0oh.. also had time with my favourite BENJYBOY!! *wootz*
he's my sweetest..
same hairstyle as `him..
and ofcourse, there's Reuben & Abigail too! :))
i think they're my closest cousins from Mum's side..
heh..
and i forgot to mention that earlier during the stay at M'sia
we also caught up with Ezra & Ethan & Yong Chien & Ah Ping Jie..
went to PizzaHut for dinner together,
and then TuaKim's place for her homemade pohpiah!
mmM-MMmmmm.. =]
anyway, this trip was good.. =]



lastly, up and coming is the Church Camp[14th-17th June]..
looking forward to it..
not sure what to expect but one thing's for sure,
i'll be busy most of the sessions doing some thing or another..
hmm.. :S
mayyyyybe after the camp i'll have more to write..
can't promise 'cos i'm not sure i'll be coming here anytime soon again!



o0oh, well..
the once-in-a-blue-moon dusting away of cobwebs is now done..
